Your secret weapon for marketing HR services
Human Resources leaders receive 200 cold email pitches per week from HR vendors in the UK alone.
Founders who need HR services can receive a similar amount.
I offer fractional or freelance marketing strategy, support and execution to game changing HR service providers, to help you cut through the noise and land the your ideal clients.
Why I’m your secret weapon for marketing - and selling - HR services
My Human Resources marketing contributions have touched over $1 billion in pipeline and revenue
I’ve got a 20 year track record in B2B marketing
Since 2013 I’ve specialised in marketing to the HR profession and marketing Human Resources services (such as talent acquisition, organisational design, learning and development, talent management, equity diversity and inclusion, employee engagement and reward).
My global campaigns on the future of work and how human ingenuity shaped the world have won 24 awards between them.
My websites created for the Recruitment & Employment Confederation and the Institute of Recruitment Professionals won best website awards.
My outreach strategies generate leads and meetings for my clients - one recent three-month campaign generated 20 meetings from a cold list.
In addition to my marketing chops, I’ve got direct experience of the people function and the pressures it’s under:
I’ve been a senior decision-maker in a global organisation. I know what it’s like to be in the rooms where decisions about people, processes and organisation design get made.
I’ve opened a UK satellite office in London (from a US headquartered organisation) and recruited a team on the ground
I’ve recruited and retained a globally dispersed digital content department
I was handpicked to be mentored by Bob Safian, co-host of Reid Hoffman’s Masters of Scale podcast and former Editor of Fast Company magazine (what a privilege and education!)
I’ve participated in many organisational transformations and created internal and external comms for a $452m multinational acquisition
Don’t take my word for it though - see what clients say:

Championing Human to Human content and communication
We’re all in the sales business.
No matter our job title.
Whether you’re the head of Marketing, Sales or Human Resources I’ll bet you spend a lot of time influencing people – whether they’re customers, peers, or employees.
I’ll also bet the first tool in your communication toolkit is…words.
Words work because they persuade, inspire, motivate, nudge and influence us. They evoke and resonate. They create change and drive behaviour.
They connect humans to other humans.
And humans think.
Humans feel.
Humans buy.
I’m here to help you drive your business results, through human to human content and communication.
Sound good?
This Women’s Work
(aka the ubiquitous side project)
I’ve never worked in a Human Resources role, but I’ve been continuously supported, influenced and inspired by the strategic and tactical work people professionals do. (You might have already guessed I’m a fan of Human Resources).
I fully subscribe to what the CIPD (the UK’s Chartered Institute for People and Development Professionals) envisions the HR profession delivering - Good Work for everyone.
When I was in my first global leadership role and also expecting my first child, I bumped up against many of the invisible barriers to Good Work women face in many organizations, all over the world - no matter how junior or senior they are.
Given my background in communicating the business benefits of strategic HR initiatives - like the fact that having women on boards makes companies 30% more profitable, and women are statistically better at 11 out of 12 identified leadership traits (whereas men are better at 9**) I realised I could help businesses and professional women by communicating those benefits publicly.
This Women’s Work is a website in progress, and will eventually be a podcast, exploring the real economic impact of women’s contributions in and outside of the office. Check it out.
